Public Service Announcement
This is something that will benefit all of us! We never know when communications will be urgently needed. Just think about the earthquakes in Haiti & Chile. The first example I thought of is Google maps. Getting around can be critical.
Another extremely useful idea is the ICE concept, used by many First Responders :ie; the In Case of Emergency (ICE) contact numbers on your cellphone. Use ICE as the actual contact name.
If you are incapacitated, or unconscious, someone who finds your phone, can call your contact numbers for you. It might even save your life. This is also a good idea for your loved ones.
